We kept coming back to the position. Very few villas in Antigua sit on their own point with open water on three sides, and fewer still pair that with a walk to a good beach. Sea Breeze Cove gives you both, along with an infinity pool that reads as part of the sea and a terrace built for long lunches and slow evenings. We also liked how complete it is: six proper en-suite bedrooms, a cinema, a study, and a house manager who can quietly assemble a chef and a full staff when you want them. It is a villa that works equally well for a celebration and for a quiet week off the grid, and the sunsets over the harbour are a nightly event in their own right.

Sea Breeze CoveOur rating  8.6 / 10

We chose it for the view and the ease. The saltwater infinity pool and the sea views from every room would headline a much larger house, and the two-floor layout gives the pair of bedrooms a little separation. For two couples or a small family it is just right, private and low-key, yet backed by a full resort with a beach club, spa, gym and restaurants a short stroll away. Sitting between Darkwood and Ffryes, two of Antigua's finest beaches, and a short drive from Jolly Harbour, it is a smart, view-led base that makes the most of a beautiful stretch of coast.

Hills of AntiguaOur rating  8.3 / 10

We chose it for the sheer view. The infinity pool and the sea outlook from every room feel far larger than a two-bedroom villa, and the crisp, contemporary interior keeps everything calm and uncluttered. For two couples or a small family it is ideal, private and easy, yet backed by a full resort with a beach club, spa, gym and restaurants a short stroll away. With a white-sand beach just below and Ffryes Bay minutes off, it is a smart, view-led base for a Caribbean week.

Why Saint Mary

What makes Saint Mary worth choosing

The island's calmest beaches

Ffryes and Darkwood shelve gently into clear, west-facing water that stays calm for swimming and paddleboarding. The sunsets over the bay are the daily event, and Jolly Beach lies a short stroll from many of the villas.

Clifftop pools and sea views

The hillsides above Jolly Harbour and Ffryes give villas a clean sweep of the Caribbean, with infinity pools set right at the terrace edge. Most homes here read the sea from almost every room.

Marina life on the doorstep

Jolly Harbour brings a marina, shops and restaurants within a few minutes' drive, handy for provisioning or a casual dinner by the boats. Boat charters and day sails to the smaller cays leave from close by.

Our Selection in Saint Mary

There is a particular ease to this side of the island, where the water stays calm and the days unspool slowly. We choose villas here for their outlook and their privacy, and for pools that seem to hang over the sea. Our team knows which hillsides catch the best of the light and the breeze, and which homes live up to their photographs. Book through us and you gain that judgement, along with a stay we would gladly take ourselves, and someone to call if plans change.
