A bright two-bedroom villa within a gated hillside resort at Tamarind Hills, on Antigua's calm west coast, it is arranged over two levels and built entirely around its waterfront outlook. A private infinity pool runs to the edge of the terrace and appears to merge with the turquoise sea, while a balcony with a barbecue and a table makes an easy spot for sunset dinners. Inside, the villa is crisp and contemporary: an open-plan living and dining room and a full kitchen with a breakfast bar all open to the water, and the two en-suite bedrooms, one king, one twin, both wake to the sea, one with a hanging chair on its own balcony. It sleeps four, which suits two couples or a small family who want a private, view-led base rather than a big villa. Guests also have the run of the resort, a beach club, a gym, a spa, a bar and a beachfront restaurant, with a white-sand beach just below and Ffryes Bay minutes away. The capital, St John's, is a short drive. V. C. Bird International Airport is around a 35 to 40 minute drive.
