Life in Love is a four-bedroom villa set high on the cliffs of a gated resort above Ffryes on Antigua's sheltered west coast, where the whole house seems to lean out over the turquoise water. Its private infinity pool runs to the edge of the terrace and appears to spill into the bay below, with sun loungers, a shaded gazebo and a barbecue for long, slow evenings. Inside, the mood is bright and coastal: white sofas, pale timber and sea glass tones, with an open-plan living and dining room and a full kitchen that all open to the view. Four en-suite bedrooms sleep eight, and a self-contained ground-floor apartment gives a couple or older children a little extra privacy. Most rooms wake to the sight and sound of the sea. Beyond the villa, guests have the run of the resort's beach club, spa and restaurant, and a white-sand beach lies just below. It suits a family or two couples who want a private, view-led base with resort comforts on hand, and Jolly Harbour Marina, with its shops and restaurants, is a five-minute drive away. V. C. The clifftop position gives an infinity pool and terraces that look straight down the coast, yet the villa comes with the ease of a resort behind it: a beach club, a spa and a restaurant a short stroll away. It is the kind of place where days slip by between the pool, the gazebo and the beach, with just enough on hand that no one has to lift a finger.
