In summer the mountains open for hiking, biking and golf.

Not every group wants a full catered chalet, and Mont d'Arbois 6 offers a beautifully finished, self-catered alternative with its own indoor pool, sauna and gym, on one of Megeve's best addresses. The interiors are a highlight, warm old timber and stone worked into sleek, contemporary spaces around a sculptural stove, and the five en-suite bedrooms give a group real comfort. With a chef available on request when you want one, and the lifts and village a short hop away, it is a smart, good-value choice for a design-minded family or group.
