Villa Enchantée

VILLALE ROURET, FRENCH RIVIERA, FRANCE

4 Bedrooms • 4 Bathrooms • Sleeps 8

Private PoolBBQTerraceWiFiAir Conditioning

Villa Enchantée is a four-bedroom contemporary villa in Le Rouret, a hilltop village in the Côte d'Azur hinterland above Cannes, sleeping up to eight guests across four en-suite bedrooms. The villa is designed around natural light, with high ceilings and large windows drawing the Provençal landscape into every room. A heated 9m x 5m infinity pool sits on a lower terrace below the main living level, a layout that proves practically useful for families as much as it is aesthetically considered. Al fresco dining on the covered terrace, a yoga terrace, table tennis and a well-stocked kitchen make the property as comfortable for a long summer week as for a shorter break. The village of Le Rouret is one kilometre away for daily essentials, while the market town of Valbonne is nine kilometres distant and Cannes and Antibes are both reachable within thirty minutes by car. A mid-week maid service is included, with pre-arrival grocery shopping, wine delivery and laundry available on request. The villa works particularly well for multi-generational families: primary suites on both the upper and lower floors allow different generations their own space, and the pool fence and crib provision make it genuinely suitable for guests travelling with infants and young children. It is listed through CV Villas, a long-established specialist in villa holidays across France and the Mediterranean.

peak crowdpremium value

The Côte d'Azur hinterland is at its warmest and most reliably sunny from June through August, and the villa's infinity pool, shaded terrace and hillside position above Le Rouret make it an ideal summer base for exploring the region.

Villa Enchantée is at its best from late May through September, when the Côte d'Azur hinterland is warm, dry and reliably sunny and the hillside setting above Le Rouret is cooler than the coast. July and August are peak season with higher rates and busier roads to the beaches. June and September offer excellent weather, more availability and quieter roads, making them the most rewarding months to visit.

winter

dec · jan · feb

Mild by northern European standards but cool and occasionally wet, with temperatures rarely dropping below freezing at this altitude. The Côte d'Azur hinterland receives more rainfall in winter than the coast.

5-13°C

low crowdexcellent value

Winter is the quietest period and offers the best value rates. The villa's underfloor heating and central heating make it a comfortable year-round proposition, though the pool will be cooler than in summer even when heated.

spring

mar · apr · may

Warming steadily from March, with May reliably warm and dry. The Provençal countryside is at its most vivid in April and May, with wildflowers across the hills.

10-22°C

moderate crowdgood value

May is increasingly popular due to the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix. Book at least three to four months ahead if visiting in May. March and April offer good availability and pleasant walking weather.

summer

Recommended

jun · jul · aug

Hot, dry and reliably sunny, with the hillside position of Le Rouret providing some relief from the coastal heat. July and August can reach above 35°C at lower elevations.

22-34°C

peak crowdpremium value

July and August are peak season across the Côte d'Azur. Book six months or more ahead for prime summer weeks. June and September offer nearly identical weather with meaningfully lower rates and less traffic on roads to the beach.

autumn

sep · oct · nov

September remains warm and often sunny, with October cooling and bringing the first significant rainfall of the year. November is mild but increasingly unpredictable.

10-25°C

low crowdgood value

September is an excellent value month with warm weather and low crowds. October and November are viable for guests who prioritise landscape and culture over pool use. Verify the pool is still heated for any booking after mid-October.

Why we chose it

The detail that caught our attention is the pool's position: set a level below the main terrace rather than flush with it, which gives adults a clear sightline over the water without the pool dominating the living space. Few villas of this scale think that carefully about levels. Staying here feels quieter and more considered than comparable Côte d'Azur properties nearer the coast, where the summer crowds and coastal pricing can undercut the experience. Unlike most villas at this price point in the Bay of Cannes area, Villa Enchantée includes a dedicated yoga terrace and underfloor heating, making it usable comfortably in shoulder season as well as high summer. The multi-generational layout, with full suites on both floors, is genuinely rare in a four-bedroom property.

02The Interior

The interiors at Villa Enchantée are described in the listing as featuring exquisite modern furnishings and a tastefully decorated approach to the living areas. The ground floor is arranged as an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge space that opens directly onto the covered terrace, reinforcing the indoor-outdoor character the villa is designed around. The master suite on the first floor…

03The Outdoor

The principal outdoor space is the covered terrace adjoining the kitchen and living area, used for al fresco dining and as the main gathering point during the day. Below it, the heated pool terrace holds the 9m x 5m infinity pool with built-in steps, a pool house and poolside lounging. The pool is fenced, which combined with its position a…

04The Location

Le Rouret is a small hilltop village in the Alpes-Maritimes department, set in the arrière-pays directly above the Bay of Cannes at an elevation that keeps it noticeably cooler and quieter than the coastal resorts in high summer. The village itself is one kilometre from the villa and provides restaurants, cafés and a supermarket. Valbonne, a larger market town with…

05Ideal For

Villa Enchantée is designed for multi-generational families of up to eight. The split-level layout, with full suites on both floors, separate sleeping areas and a fenced pool set below the main terrace, makes it a considered choice for families combining adults and young children or infants.
