Villa D'Azur is a five-bedroom waterfront villa in La Seyne-sur-Mer, on the Côte d'Azur, sleeping up to ten guests across individually appointed en suite rooms, several with direct sea views and private balcony access. The property sits within over 4,000 square metres of manicured gardens and is orientated toward the water, with a heated 11m by 5m infinity pool that appears to dissolve into the bay beyond. Inside, the villa balances classic Provençal character with contemporary comfort: a large living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a home cinema and a games room fitted with billiards, table football and table tennis give the property a breadth of indoor amenity unusual at this scale. Daily continental breakfast is included in the rate, with a concierge on hand throughout the stay and daily housekeeping as standard. A cook service and wellness treatments can be arranged on request, making the property adaptable for groups who want full service without the fixed cost of a staffed villa. La Plage, a sandy beach, is 650 metres from the front door, and the village of La Seyne-sur-Mer with shops, restaurants and a pharmacy is three kilometres away. St Tropez is 83 kilometres to the east, reachable in under an hour and a half by road. The villa is listed through CV Villas, a long-established specialist in self-catering holiday rentals on the French Riviera.

peak crowdpremium value

Summer delivers the Côte d'Azur at its best: warm sea temperatures, long evenings on the terrace and the infinity pool at its most spectacular against the bay.

Summer, from June to August, is the natural season for Villa D'Azur, with reliable sunshine, warm sea temperatures and the Côte d'Azur at full operational capacity. The shoulder months of May and September offer noticeably quieter conditions with good weather and more availability at lower rates. The villa is available year-round, and the Provençal spring, from April, is genuinely pleasant for those prioritising gardens, local markets and coastal walks over beach days.

winter

dec · jan · feb

Mild by northern European standards, with average daytime temperatures around 10-13°C, low rainfall and frequent sunshine. Some cooler, windier days occur, particularly in January and February.

8-13°C

low crowdexcellent value

Winter is the easiest season to book with minimal lead time required. Rates are at their lowest. Confirm the property is available over the specific dates you need, as it is marketed as year-round but peak periods may still be requested.

spring

mar · apr · may

Warming steadily from March, with May delivering reliably warm and sunny days. The Provençal landscape is at its most colourful, with wildflowers across the coastal hills.

13-22°C

moderate crowdgood value

May in particular fills quickly as it combines good weather with pre-peak pricing. Book the property two to three months ahead for May dates. The minimum stay drops to three nights outside the summer restriction period.

peak crowdpremium value

The seven-night Saturday-to-Saturday rule applies from 17 June to 15 September. July and August weeks at this standard should be booked four to six months in advance. The security deposit of €8,000 is taken by the owner by credit card pre-authorisation.

autumn

sep · oct · nov

September remains warm and the sea holds its summer temperature well into the month. October brings cooler evenings and occasional rain, though settled warm spells are common. November is noticeably cooler and quieter.

13-25°C

low crowdexcellent value

Early September still operates under the peak-season seven-night minimum. From mid-September the three-night minimum resumes and rates drop substantially. An excellent window for those wanting Riviera warmth without July and August pricing.

Why we chose it

The detail that stands out at Villa D'Azur is the rooftop terrace, which sits above the main living floors and frames an unobstructed sea panorama that the ground-level terrace, however generous, cannot match. Sunrise yoga can be arranged up there directly through the concierge, which tells you something about how the property is managed. Unlike most villas at this price point on the western Côte d'Azur, this one combines a genuinely large indoor entertainment footprint, two separate games rooms including a home cinema, with outdoor scale: 4,000 square metres of gardens and a heated infinity pool. The result is a villa that works as well in the evening, or on a cooler shoulder-season day, as it does in the height of summer.

01The Architecture

Villa D'Azur is a Provençal villa in the classic coastal idiom: rendered façades, tiered outdoor terracing and a layout that steps down toward the waterfront across its lower ground, ground and first floors. The orientation is deliberate, with living spaces and bedrooms positioned to capture sea views across the bay, and the infinity pool positioned at terrace level so its…

02The Interior

The interior holds to a contemporary take on Provençal style: warm materials, a working fireplace in the main living room and natural light throughout the upper floors. Five en suite bedrooms are distributed across three levels, with two on the lower ground floor opening directly to the garden and pool, and three on the first floor, two of which have…

03The Outdoor

The outdoor spaces at Villa D'Azur are built around 4,000 square metres of manicured gardens, which is a significant footprint for a property of this size on the Côte d'Azur where land comes at a premium. The main terrace is sun-facing with dedicated dining and lounging areas, and the heated infinity pool measures 11 metres by 5 metres, positioned so…

04The Location

Villa D'Azur sits in La Seyne-sur-Mer, a working port town on the western shore of the Toulon roadstead, facing east across the bay. The location sits within the broader Bay of St Tropez catchment on the Côte d'Azur, though it is geographically closer to Toulon, 10 kilometres to the east, than to St Tropez, which is 83 kilometres away. Three…

05Ideal For

Villa D'Azur suits a group of up to ten: a large family, two families sharing, or a group of friends who want both indoor and outdoor space in quantity. The games room, home cinema, boules court and rooftop terrace mean the villa functions well beyond pool hours, making it a strong choice for mixed-age groups. Families with young children are…
