Riviera Echo

VILLASAINT-TROPEZ, FRENCH RIVIERA, FRANCE

3 Bedrooms • 3 Bathrooms • Sleeps 6

Private PoolPrivate ChefConciergeBeach NearbyTerrace

Riviera Echo is a three-bedroom villa in Saint-Tropez, sleeping six, set within walking distance of Canoubiers beach and a short stroll from the port and town centre. At 1,291 sq ft, the villa is compact by Riviera standards, but the layout is well-considered: most rooms open directly onto the garden and pool, so the boundary between inside and out dissolves in the way that defines a good South of France holiday. The private pool is the social centre of the property, and the terrace offers the kind of evening setting that Saint-Tropez does better than almost anywhere: warm air, cicadas, the smell of sun cream still in the air. The concierge service is notably comprehensive for a property of this size, covering airport transfers, private chef arrangement, restaurant reservations, babysitting and daily cleaning, all available on request. Two ground-floor en-suite bedrooms make the villa accessible for guests with reduced mobility. A hire car is recommended to reach Pampelonne Beach, fifteen minutes away, and to explore the wider peninsula with any ease. Parking for up to three cars is included. The property is listed on Plum Guide, whose curation process rejects a significant proportion of submitted properties on quality grounds. Riviera Echo suits a group of six seeking a private, serviced base in one of France's most recognisable summer destinations, with the town, a beach and a pool all within reach.

When to visit

Saint-Tropez is a summer destination at heart, with July and August bringing the glamour, the crowds and the highest prices. June and September offer a more relaxed version of the same experience: warm, sunny and busy but not gridlocked. July and August require early booking and patience with traffic. October through May the town is quiet and many businesses close, but the climate is mild and the pace is genuinely pleasant.

winter

dec · jan · feb

Mild and mostly dry by Mediterranean standards, with average daytime temperatures comfortable for walking but cool for swimming. Many Saint-Tropez businesses close for the season, and the town is quiet.

8-13°C

low crowdexcellent value

Many restaurants and beach clubs close between October and March. Confirm the property is operational and that key local services you need are open before booking for this period.

spring

mar · apr · may

Warming steadily through the season, with May bringing reliable sunshine and temperatures comfortable enough for outdoor dining and pool use on warmer days.

13-22°C

moderate crowdgood value

Spring offers good availability and reasonable rates compared to summer. May is the strongest month of the season, with most businesses open and temperatures genuinely warm.

summer

jun · jul · aug

Hot, dry and reliably sunny throughout. July and August are consistently warm with sea temperatures ideal for swimming. Road traffic in and around Saint-Tropez is significant at peak season.

24-30°C

peak crowdpremium value

July and August require booking as far ahead as possible, typically 6-12 months for peak weeks. Traffic on the peninsula can add 30-45 minutes to any journey during July and August. June and September offer the same sunshine with significantly less congestion.

autumn

sep · oct · nov

September is warm, sunny and considerably calmer than August. October sees a gradual cooling, and November is mild but with shorter days and some rain.

14-25°C

moderate crowdgood value

September is arguably the best month to visit: summer warmth without August crowds or pricing. The Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta in late September draws visitors, so book early if you want to coincide with it.

Why we chose it

What we noticed first is that most rooms connect directly to the garden and pool rather than routing guests through a corridor. In a villa of this size, that design decision makes a real difference to how the space feels in use: it reads as larger and more fluid than the square footage alone suggests. The concierge stack here is more extensive than most comparable properties at this price point, covering everything from fridge fills to babysitting to laundry and dry cleaning, which shifts the experience from self-catering with extras to something closer to a serviced stay. The accessibility provision is also worth noting: two ground-floor en-suite bedrooms mean Riviera Echo works for mixed groups that would be excluded from most comparable Saint-Tropez villas.

01The Architecture

The villa is built in the low-slung, light-washed style typical of the Saint-Tropez hinterland, designed to stay cool under the Mediterranean sun rather than to make an architectural statement. The key architectural decision is the relationship between the interior rooms and the outdoor spaces: most rooms have direct access to the garden, which in practice means the pool terrace functions…

02The Interior

The interior palette runs to serene, neutral tones throughout, with natural light as the primary design element. The scrape describes rooms styled in calm shades, and the emphasis on light and garden access suggests a deliberately unfussy approach: the interiors step back rather than compete with the outdoor setting. Two of the three bedrooms are en-suite and positioned on the…

03The Outdoor

The private pool and terrace are the defining feature of Riviera Echo's outdoor offer. The garden connects directly to most of the interior rooms, which means the pool area is genuinely integrated into daily life rather than accessed as a separate destination. The terrace is set up for outdoor living across the full day, from a morning swim through to…

04The Location

Riviera Echo sits within walking distance of both Canoubiers beach and the centre of Saint-Tropez, which is a genuinely useful combination: most villas in the area require a car for both. The port, with its concentration of luxury yachts, restaurants and boutiques, is reachable on foot. Pampelonne Beach, the long sandy stretch that defines Saint-Tropez's summer reputation, is fifteen minutes…

The two ground-floor en-suite bedrooms make this a strong choice for groups that include guests with reduced mobility. Riviera Echo does not include a private chef as standard, but one can be arranged through the host's concierge service at an additional cost. The same concierge service can organise restaurant reservations, fridge fills, breakfast deliveries and other catering extras on request.

The host operates a 24/7 concierge service that can arrange a private chef, airport transfers, daily cleaning, babysitting, cab booking, laundry and dry cleaning, luggage storage, massage, restaurant reservations and tickets and experience booking. The nearest commercial airport is Nice Côte d'Azur, approximately 90 minutes by road (longer in peak summer traffic). For private aviation, La Mole Airport (Saint-Tropez Airport) accepts light aircraft and helicopters directly into the peninsula, around 15 minutes from the property by car. A helicopter transfer from Nice takes approximately 20 minutes and is widely used at peak season.

The property includes two ground-floor en-suite bedrooms, which makes it accessible for guests with reduced mobility. The listing specifically notes this as a feature for those with mobility considerations.

Pets are not permitted at Riviera Echo.

Canoubiers beach is a short walk from the property. Pampelonne Beach, with its famous beach clubs, is fifteen minutes by car. The town of Saint-Tropez offers boutique shopping, the Tuesday and Saturday markets on Place des Lices, the port and a range of restaurants including one of France's most decorated fine-dining tables. Boat hire, water sports and vineyard visits in the surrounding Var countryside are all easily arranged from the property.

June and September offer the most comfortable balance of warm weather, open businesses and manageable crowds. July and August are the peak weeks, with maximum atmosphere and maximum congestion on the roads and beaches. October through May the town is significantly quieter and many businesses close seasonally, though the climate remains mild.

The property is within walking distance of Canoubiers beach and the centre of Saint-Tropez, so a car is not essential for daily life. The listing recommends hiring a car to reach Pampelonne Beach (fifteen minutes away) and to explore the wider peninsula more easily. Free parking is available on-site for up to three vehicles.
